If The Kid was around right now, they'd have the perfect materials to make a most excellent box fort. Items from our registry have been arriving all week, and some of the boxes are huge. We've been diligent about breaking down boxes as they arrive, but even I've been tempted to construct a fun play-zone for myself.
In terms of reading, I polished off Queen of Shadows. I am now on the next book Empire of Storms. There is no way I finish this series before The Kid arrives, but I am having a lot of fun trying.
