Yesterday, The Husband and visited the National Arboretum. One of the open air museums was dedicated to the art of bonsai. Every little tree we saw was beautiful. Some were shaped to look like miniature versions of their giant counterparts while others were designed to look like animals. Each tree was beautiful in its own way. We were shocked to see that one of the trees in the collection had been tended since 1795. This is a beautiful art form.
