How Long It's Been a TBR: About two weeks.
Why It's a TBR: Mark Bowden is, hands down, my favorite non-fiction author. I will read anything he writes. Bowden has a way of bringing stories to live with rich detail that, even when it gets into the weeds, avoids being boring or info dumpy. This book is particularly intriguing because it looks at a cold case kidnapping and murder that took place in my area.
Chance I Read It Soon: Not great. I still have is other recent book, Hue 1968, sitting on my bookcase... unread.
