You know what's a great thing about podcasts and NPR stories? They drown out an annoying beep from that random alarm in your office. It was midterm week on campus so the library was absolutely packed. Someone accidentally bumped one of the fire doors which set off this beeping notification on the fire alert board near my office. Sadly, only public safety can turn it off. So, in went the headphones and up went the volume. Sanity saved.
