Every December, The Atlantic releases their online advent calendar. It's a single web-page that unveils a new image from the Hubble telescope every day until Christmas. It's a simple thing, but I look forward to it every year.
Hubble has taken so many stunning images that it must be a tough job to limit it to 25. Space is vast and beautiful. But, more than being beautiful, it helps to put things in perspective. During a season when shopping, baking, cleaning, and general stress can take over, it's nice to be reminded of the bigger picture.
