I am friends with a lot of great women. Strong women. Smart women. Funny women. Touching women. To say the Supreme Court events of the past few months - and last week especially - were trying on us would be an understatement. We shared our sorrows and our fears. But, in an effort to be supportive and uplifting, we also shared self-care in the form of happy emails.
Throughout the week, we zipped cute animals, cartoons, and funny stories back and forth to one another. It never removed the pain of our experiences, but it was a constant reminder that we are there for one another.
