This weekend, The Husband and I are headed to a dark sky location to do some star gazing. We borrowed a friend's telescope and will be taking along our backyard astronomer book. Our trip falls on a no moon weekend and we're hoping to see far more starts and constellations than we can see in our urban center home town. History offers a fascinating glimpse to how humans view the night skies.
