Thoughts: I thought this book would would be more specifically about Instagram - how to take great photos, how to style flat lays, editing, etc. Instead, this book focuses mostly on improving you photography skills. There's nothing wrong with that; I just think the title is a bit misleading. If you ignore that, this book offers wonderful tips, from basic to advanced, on how to take better photographs. It covers everything from lighting to composition to posing models to editing. The book also discusses the whys of photography which include storytelling and how to create moods and vibes. The layout is broken down into main categories with each spread of pages focusing on specific tips you can learn and use. Those tips are then illustrated with photographs to act as examples. While I was disappointed was not ore focused on Instagram, I did think it was a great book on photography.
