I listen to a lot of podcasts and NPR while I commute, cook, and clean. Here's a list of my favorite listens from this week.
- What do you do with confederate monuments that have been removed? The answer is not straightforward. [All Things Considered]
- The laws and conundrums behind 3D printed guns. It might be time for libraries and makerspaces to take a look at their public use policies. [The Daily]
- Online shopping. Good for you - bad for traffic. [All Things Considered]
- Why it's cheaper to ship something internationally than across the street. [Planet Money]
- I love this episode because it's all about trying to do more good for more people. [By The Book]
- The Atlantic Library is taking it's computer lab outside. [Morning Edition]
- I started binging Wow in the World. It's an NPR science podcast targeted towards children but it is utterly delightful as well as informative. They even discussed the peer review process! I absolutely adore how the hosts share so much information without talking down to their kid audience.
- What's out there beyond Uranus and why being grateful makes you healthier. [The Search for Planet Nine and Our Sushi Powered Brains]
- Just delightfully fun listening. [Pokemon Go Make Some Friends and The Noisy Sounds of Silence]
