It's been forever and a day since I read a fun fiction like Hey Ladies!. This book is about a group of 20- and 30- somethings who help each other through hardships, relationships, and everything else in life. Stories about friendship are all about the ups and downs of groups dynamics but, ultimately, being there for one another through thick and thin. This book is a modern-day epistolary novel told through emails, tweets, and texts. Bring on the drama!
For some reason, I equate this style of breezy, friend-based fiction with brunch. Brunch is all about gathering together with friends to eat, gab, and generally have a good time together. It's also about indulging a little. This recipe for an everything bagel casserole is everything I love about brunch: carbs, eggs, and cheese. This recipe is no fuss and can be made ahead of time giving you time to anticipate just how good the next day is going to be. Give me this dish, a bottomless mimosa, and a table full of friends and you've got my perfect day.
