This week, The Husband and I attended the Washington Capitals Championship Parade. I loved being among a joyful crowd and seeing the exhilarated (and possibly still drunken) faces on our team. A sports win has been a long time coming for the city and we soaked it all up with gusto.
The weather cooperated so we also soaked up a lot of rays. Our spot on the parade route was in full sun and I came away from the day with a nice bit of sunburn on my neck. I wish I had thought to bring this big, floppy sun hat with me. It's so chic and perfect for summer.
