Summer is sangria season. There are so many ways to make sangria, but I can't wait to try to version based on a delicious dessert.
Strawberry shortcake is one of my favorite desserts. It's fresh while also being a little indulgent. It's sweet without being cloying. The idea of putting that dessert in to drink form has my lips smacking.
The best part about this recipe is that it different than your average sangria which relies on stone fruits and wine. While the wine is still there (moscato!) there's an extra kick from whip cream flavored vodka.
