How Long It's Been a TBR: About 6 months. I think.
Why It's a TBR: The author gave an interview about her book on NPR when it was first released. Something about her pitch made me think this was a great book. It mixes the parts of dramatic thrillers with the delicate narrative of a family story. Also, as someone who goes to the local zoo all the time, I have a feeling this book will speak to me.
Chance I Read It Soon: That depends. I am very much in the mood to read fiction, but this book has an extensive waiting list at my library. I'm not sure if I could get my hands on it anytime soon.
