Title: Outlander Kitchen: The Official Outlander Companion Cookbook
Author: Theresa Carle-Sanders
How Long It's Been a TBR: I'm guessing at least two years at this point.
Why It's a TBR: Outlander is my favorite fictional series. One of the reason I love the books is the vivid scene setting laid out by Diana Gabaldon. You can really picture the settings in your mind complete with how the air feels, what scents are in the area, and right down to the heaviness of the fabric of the characters' clothing. When food makes an appearance, my lips start to smack (or curl back if it's that sort of scene.) The story of Outlander requires a rustic, homemade kind of menu which is my favorite sort of cooking. I also love the idea of making a meal from this book and then eating it while reading the series. That's why this book was added to my TBR list.
Chance I Read It Soon: Probably not great. I love reading cookbooks, but I have not seen this item in my library and it's not something I would buy.
