One of my favorite parts of living in DC is getting to experience the bloom of the cherry blossoms every spring. I don't always get to make it to the Tidal Basin - which is a trip I always recommend - but I do get to enjoy the cherry blossom trees that are scattered about the rest of DC.
It's a beautiful time of year to live in this city. This year, peak bloom is scheduled for this upcoming weekend. If you live in the area, I recommend a trip - and don't forget your camera!
