Continuing this week's trend of posting all things floral, today's pinned features a tutorial from Peggy Dean of The Pigeon Letters on how to draw a beautiful peony. It's an easy to follow process where you build lines on one another to create a completed drawing. If you wanted to get even more creative, you could add some colored pencil or watercolor to the completed piece.
I've recently gotten in to line drawing as a way to relax and be creative. Dean is a master of this art. She even has two books (Botanical Line Drawing and Botanical Line Drawing: Cactus and Succulent Edition) showing step-by-step instructions of how to draw plants, flowers, and lovely growing things. Any time she adds a new tutorial to her Instagram, I immediately save it to Pinterest. I've got a lovely collection of examples to work from now.
