Hour 3: Wherein Our Reader is Thrice

CURRENTLY READING: I am a few pages into my third read, License to Pawn by Rick Harrison

THOUGHTS?: Rick actually wrote this book himself, or he has a fantabulous ghost writer. The writing sounds just like him. I am loving this book so far, but I think the companions are a wee bit miffed that I keep interrupting their reading to share passages. Meh.

SNACKS AND STUFF: Baked goods and mimosas. Nom nom nom.

My mom is quite the baker.
Second Breakfast!
Bubbles!
COMPANION UPDATE: We three are all awake. The Boyfriend is working on Clive Cussler's Treasure of Khan. He says it is good, but long... and due back at the library in 3 days. I guess this read-a-thon was well timed. The Roomie is reading Cybele's Secret by Juliet Marillierya. She picked it up from the library because the cover was purty.

ANYTHING ELSE?: It's time for a new CD! What soundtrack shall I listen to next? Last of the Mohicans for the win!

PAGES READ THIS HOUR: 74
PAGES READ TOTAL: 424

BOOKS COMPLETED:
The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo
The Alchemist: A Graphic Novel by Paulo Coelho

OMG! Your baked snacks! Me wants some!
Wow, three books already? That's awesome. And I am sooo jealous of your mimosas. Why didn't I think of that? Have a great readathon!

I wish I would have thought of mimosas. Maybe I can bribe my family into bringing some over.

Stefane - My mom is an awesome baker. I just lucked out that she closed the inn for the season, and I got to take home all the leftovers.

Kim - YA and Graphic Novels are a great way to bolster the numbers.

BlondieRocket - Mimosas have become a staple at our read-a-thons.
