On The Job: Admit When You Need a Break

I don't feel like blogging right now. I have a ton of post ideas for this column, but I don't care to take the time to craft the lengthy post each of them deserve.

So my advice for this week is to admit when you need a break. You can't bee 100 percent awesome all of the time. Sometimes, you just need an hour or a day of rest. Allow yourself to get back to normal for one day, and you'll be better able to start anew the next time around.

Taking a break is not a bad thing. It lets you recharge your batteries, mull over ideas, and reevaluate your priorities.

Plus, some breaks come with mini-umbrellas.
